Heavy Hearts: Single Review


Happy New Year ALL! We are off and running for the new year with a single review for Heavy Hearts, an alternative rock band from Niagara on the Lake, Ontario. Heavy Hearts just dropped "Vexed" and it is a pinnacle in the alt rock resurgence.

The song is a well blended mix of intensely raw emotion and catchy beats - I kept catching myself head banging as I wrote this review.

The songs starts soft and dark and then continues to build as the story evolves and changes. "Vexed" is available to stream and download on all platforms now! Add them to you playlists and if you want to know more, their socials are linked below!

What Is Punk?

 

If you look at the Merriam-Webster definition of punk, you would find a motley of things. At Punk Junk Magazine, we believe in punk as a culture: a badass social interpretation built by those who are bold, electric, and unapologetically themselves. In our eyes, a punk is someone who fights for what they want regardless of obstacles or outside forces; they put their hearts and souls into their passions and make their dreams a reality. Being punk means being yourself, despite social norms and peer-pressure; punk is having a sense of awareness, respect for yourself and others, and an open mind. So to that, we say... why be a dreamer when you can be a PUNK!
