Goody Grace: Show Review

11.17.2019

On Thursday, November 14th at Brighton Music Hall in Boston, MA, Goody Grace rocked his set while opening for Charlotte Lawrence on the Navy Blue Tour. He connected with potential new fans, as well as received praise from his already excited current fanbase. During his set, he played both upbeat bangers and slower emotional cuts. The crowd went wild when he performed his newest song, “Scumbag”, which is a collaboration with Blink-182. Before performing the single, he preached high praise of the band and its drummer, Travis Barker.

To close out the set, Goody performed his own cover of a Blink-182 song to further honor the band and show his appreciation for their support. His set brought an edge and punk energy to the crowd of Charlotte Lawrence fans. He even had his own set of cheerleading fans, who knew every word to the songs and were screaming in support. After the show, Goody hung around the crowd and took photos with the fans. Through his energy, talent, and dedication to connecting with the crowd, Goody Grace definitely earned himself some new fans by opening for Charlotte Lawrence.

What Is Punk?

If you look at the Merriam-Webster definition of punk, you would find a motley of things. At Punk Junk Magazine, we believe in punk as a culture: a badass social interpretation built by those who are bold, electric, and unapologetically themselves. In our eyes, a punk is someone who fights for what they want regardless of obstacles or outside forces; they put their hearts and souls into their passions and make their dreams a reality. Being punk means being yourself, despite social norms and peer-pressure; punk is having a sense of awareness, respect for yourself and others, and an open mind. So to that, we say... why be a dreamer when you can be a PUNK!
