Friday Giants: EP Review

This past Friday, Friday Giants released their sophomore EP Something Worth Saving. With this album, a new era begins for Friday Giants with obviously new music, but also a new lineup for the group. Despite the change of members, the current bandmates couldn’t be happier with the direction the band is going in. The Cincinnati natives are in good company being compared to bands like Silverstein, Beartooth, and Underoath. The band preaches that change is necessary with this album as it “breeds strength and persistence” (the first track on this EP), said Zac Taylor, Friday Giants’ vocalist. With their debut album, Twenty Nothings, only being 2 years old, the change the band has shown within these two albums is incredible. You can definitely hear the growth in their music and proves that change can be a good thing. Overall, Friday Giants have a clear vision for their future and clearly they’re not hitting the breaks anytime soon. Be sure to listen to Friday Giants’ new EP Something Worth Saving on Spotify, you won’t be disappointed.
