You Me At Six: Show Review

What a show!

You Me At Six, a U.K. staple that formed back in 2004, has just finished their most recent U.S. tour in Atlanta, GA. This was the first time since May of 2017 that the English rock band, hailing from Weybridge, Surrey, have visited on a North American tour and we could not be happier to see them!

The energy radiating from the band the minute they jumped on stage vibrated through the crowd. When experiencing the show, one can feel the magnetic energy pushing and pulling between the band and the crowd. This interaction had an affect on everyone from those in the front of the pit all the way up in the back of the balcony.

The cheeky band has yet to disappoint!

Their sound translates so well from record to live show. You Me At Six is definitely one of those bands that sounds great on record, but are even better live. So glad we could have been apart of their final leg of their North American tour and can't wait until they come back through!

What Is Punk?

If you look at the Merriam-Webster definition of punk, you would find a motley of things. At Punk Junk Magazine, we believe in punk as a culture: a badass social interpretation built by those who are bold, electric, and unapologetically themselves. In our eyes, a punk is someone who fights for what they want regardless of obstacles or outside forces; they put their hearts and souls into their passions and make their dreams a reality. Being punk means being yourself, despite social norms and peer-pressure; punk is having a sense of awareness, respect for yourself and others, and an open mind. So to that, we say... why be a dreamer when you can be a PUNK!
