tiLLie: EP Review

On February 8th, anti-pop artist tiLLie released her debut EP, Loud Mouth. This album has been long awaited by her fanbase since the release of her first single “Pink & Blue” in 2017. Her lyrics encourage the listeners to be unapologetic about themselves and their feelings. As tiLLie herself has gone through her own struggles that she doesn’t hide from fans and her music shows how you can come out on top despite what you’ve been through. This EP has four not just songs, but anthems for anyone who is sick of the boys clubs and wants to make a name for themselves. tiLLie is a force to be reckoned with and the music industry better prepare for this DIY anti-pop artist who’s about to take over.

For Fans Of: Spice Girls, Kitten, and Melanie Martinez

What Is Punk?

If you look at the Merriam-Webster definition of punk, you would find a motley of things. At Punk Junk Magazine, we believe in punk as a culture: a badass social interpretation built by those who are bold, electric, and unapologetically themselves. In our eyes, a punk is someone who fights for what they want regardless of obstacles or outside forces; they put their hearts and souls into their passions and make their dreams a reality. Being punk means being yourself, despite social norms and peer-pressure; punk is having a sense of awareness, respect for yourself and others, and an open mind. So to that, we say... why be a dreamer when you can be a PUNK!
